Let us review any of your policies for omissions or  improvements., and help you be frugal with your insurance dollars.   We operate for clients in several states.  We know the insurers to approach for you. LIFE SETTLEMENTS. If you are 65 or older, let us review your life insurance policies - especially if you are considering lapsing or terminating them, there may be significant value to you in them, from investors with whom we can negotiate on your behalf.  It could be tens of thousands of dollars to you.  Convertible term, whole life, or universal life with or without policy loans can result in an unexpected and possibly significant windfall to you.

BUSINESS LIFE INSURANCE.  If you have a key person in your company, one whose death or disability would cause significant economic loss, consider a single limit disability or life insurance policy to cover your potential losses, call us to review your need and offer solutions.  If you have a partner whose premature death could cause their inexperienced wife or child to be your new partner, call us to review your need and offer solutions.  Through one of our insurers, we can arrange to have a complimentary business valuation calculated,  and will provide recommendations to improve your current buy/sell agreements,  or important features to include when constructing one. Save that typical $2500 or more fee for this service from a specialist unless you really need to consult one.  Often all you need is a good lawyer, and if you don't have one - we can certainly recommend one to help you.  Funding this type of agreement is vital, and we can provide the life insurance coverage to do this no matter the size of your need, $100,000 to $10,000,000 or more.  The valuation of your business should be reviewed periodically to make sure the agreement is funded correctly, to keep up with changing laws,  and so  the IRS accepts your value,  and not their own.

GUARANTEED INTEREST ANNUITY CONTRACTS.  With investments doing poorly,  interest income rates at an all time low, and some banks giving only 1% or so, consider placing part of your liquidity in guaranteed interest rate annuities for terms up to 10 years.  Rates are generally higher for $100,000 or more, than under.  Our rates usually exceed those offered at banks. Call for current interest guarantees and durations.

PERSONAL INSURANCE DESIGNED FOR AFFLUENT CLIENTS. Too often when I visit for the first time with a client of substance, and after reviewing their needs, and the in force insurance policies covering their homes, autos, boats, and collectibles,  I observe significant errors and omissions to their coverage.  This is usually a communication gaffe between them and their agent, or agents. We understand your attention is usually occupied by your business, but flags must be raised to consider how does this or that action affect my insurance coverage because policies do not automatically adjust coverage to your needs. 

Don't allow any of your existing policies to renew without giving thought to a few things:  Home Replacement value is not what you can sell the property for, policies cover replacement value - it is todays cost to replace using today's cost of materials and today's cost of labor.  Review what is covered under your policy(s), and if need be inquire from your agent what is not covered, and what is optional or available which is not in your policy.  Coverage which adequately served you in the past may not apply anymore.  Your needs may now require special features in your policies so satisfy your evolved risks to loss, which not every insurer offers. We have policies which offer amazing features which most insurers do not offer. You get what you pay for, insurance policies are contracts, pure and simple. 

Some of these amazing options include  the ability to cash out your total home losses at replacement value, as you may not wish to rebuild or replace on the same site. You may wish to use the proceeds to buy a condominium and sell the loss site to a general contractor.  You can include flood insurance up to the full dwelling/contents limits, or have full policy property limits for backup of sewers and drains -  water damage. Insurers like State Farm and Allstate provides miniscule coverage for backup of sewers or sump pump failure, usually something like $10,000 or less.  What is that to someone who finishes their basement to the 10's and/or uses it to store property they don't need everyday.   We can insure your valuable jewelry for the amount it is scheduled for with a liberal 50% inflation rider. You never have to replace the lost item, we pay the amount listed/appraised for. You may need liability umbrella coverage for more than $5,000,000 and we can go up to $100,000,000 if required and appropriate.  Auto premiums are highly discounted on lifestyle and credit scoring for larger vehicle schedules when there are more  vehicles than operators and most types and values, even if some are kept in different locations - even if in Florida or California or even out of the country.  We can insure your boats of all sizes and values, with or without crew. 

Serious personal Art collectors can include defense coverage for defective title, fakes & forgeries and even for provenance expenses, coverage during conservation & restoration, and uncompleted works commissioned in progress, reference library coverage, and ransom & reward coverage.  Art on display away from your home is covered too.  Automatic coverage is provided for that unanticipated acquisition.

Don't overlook periodically reviewing your estate plan, and estate life insurance to pass your holdings as intact as possible to the next generations with the minimum of shrinkage..  We can help there too.

EMPLOYEE BENEFITS. We can provide employee benefits for companies of all sizes from 2 on up.  We offer coverage through the top well known insurers in your locale. Group insurance usually covers medical, life, dental, short and long term disability coverage.  Group insurance is guaranteed issue, and waives any of your pre-existing conditions when you have prior credible coverage,  or after a waiting period.  It provides coverage for providers in or out of insurer networks.  Networks are different from insurer to insurer.  Most coverage packages are somewhat fixed by the insurer, but large employers may have coverage forms designed for them.  Self Funding or partial self funding options are available to larger size employers.  If you charge your employees part of the premium,  you can set up a Section 125 premium only plan which will result in the lowering of your payroll (hence payroll taxes decrease) and the employee will receives a benefit also, as their gross wage is decreased by the amount of their contribution (hence lower payroll taxes and perhaps a larger net check) Payroll deductions can fund a cafeteria benefit plan where the funds can be used for eligible health related purposes.

DO YOU PAY YOUR EMPLOYEES BY 1099?  Most businesses pay their employees by W2.  And most insurance companies will ony offer employee benefits to employers who pay their employees by W2.  This excludes many sales organizations, contractors, restaurants, entry businesses and others from qualifying for needed group medical insurance. After all, everyone has a need to cover themselves and their families under a policy where coverage and acceptance is guaranteed, pre-existing conditions can be covered, and generally premiums are less and more consistent.    Most insurance companies at best will accept only a very small percentage of the total employee population for 1099 employees, to accommodate commission salesmen, etc.  Further, most insurers require from groups to verify evidence of employment, and of ownership if the owners are not on payroll. This is done  by their examining your payroll tax documents.   We represent these companies like everyone else. 

BUT, WE DO SOMETHING WHICH NONE OF THEM DO, AND IT MAKES OUR SERVICE UNIQUE!  We regularly provide clients excellent group benefits with an insurer who will not distinguish between a 1099 and a W2 employee -  and they will not require verification evidence of employment either.    So if you want to provide true group insurance to your company's eligible full time employees, possibly having been excluded from this in the past, CALL US!   We will design you a good policy, and our premium rates in Cook and Dupage Counties have recently gone down. We can accommodate companies up to 49 lives per policy.

NEW COMMUNITY PPO PLANS OFFERED BY AETNA FOR HISPANIC/LATINO BUSINESSES IN COOK COUNTY. Newly available community based PPO networks have been designed in joint effort by the ILLINOIS HISPANIC CHAMBER OF COMMERCE and AETNA.  We offer Hispanic/Latino employers with 2 - 5000 employees excellent premium savings of up to 30% for excellent PPO IN NETWORK benefits, and with out of network benefits too. Included in the program are free wellness benefits, and the Chamber provides clients and their employees free business consultations and advise. These plans can be offered as a 2nd or a 3rd selection of benefits to help the Hispanic/Latino employee population of your company. Rates for these plans are less than regular rates because the medical providers in this special PPO network have been selected for this special community, after a thorough poll by the Illinois Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of actual providers utilized by the Hispanic and Latino community in Cook County. Providers were selected based on quality factors, as well as their close proximity to the community, and being bilingual.  When using these providers,  very comprehensive coverage is provided.

COMMERCIAL PROPERTIES.  If you own, control or manage, multiple commercial buildings such as office or apartment buildings, shopping or strip centers, or hotels, consider our programs with Zurich, Travelers, CNA or Hartford.   Perhaps you can even join in a risk group which allows your own excellent loss record to provide the preferred premiums you deserve.  We can accomodate your well maintained properties with values in the hundreds of millions of dollars in value,   and we can also offer umbrella liability limits in the hundreds of millions also.  Our insurer's premium rates in the industry are excellent.
